摘 要:清末至民国时期是中国学术从传统向现代转型的关键时期,也是中国大学学科逐步建立的时期,大学的学科建设需要面对学术转型带来的复杂问题。清华大学校长罗家伦借改革之机,亲自谋划历史系的学科建设,参照欧美一流大学历史学科的经验,通过整顿学科队伍、重构学科课程、推动专题式研究三大措施,促使清华大学历史学科走出旧有学术模式,走向完全独立,并逐渐形成自己的风格,实现了历史学科的现代化。这次学科改革也有局限:一律辞聘了以陆懋德为代表的文史学者,未能考虑这些学者的传统文史知识在现代历史学学科中的价值。这个缺憾导致一部分传统文史知识在学科建设中被忽视或边缘化。From the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China,it was a critical period for the transformation of Chinese academia to modernity,and it was also a period when many disciplines in Chinese universities were established which needed to face complex problems.Luo Jialun,President of Tsinghua University,took this opportunity to plan the disciplinary construction of the Department of History.He referred to the experience of first-class universities in Europe and the United States and applied three major measures,such as rectifying disciplinary faculty,restructuring subject curriculum and promoting thematic research.Under his efforts,history discipline in Tsinghua University moved out of the old model,became completely independent and formed its own style,realizing modernization in both connotation and extension.However,the reform had some limitations.All the old literary and historical scholars represented by Lu Maode were resigned and the value of their traditional literary and historical knowledge in modern history discipline was ignored,which might make some traditional literary and historical knowledge ignored or marginalized in disciplinary construction.
