摘　　要：本杰明·伍德(左),美国建筑师协会(AIA)会员,于1984年获得麻省理工学院(MIT)建筑硕士学位。由他主持设计的芝加哥熊队橄榄球主场体育馆被纽约时代杂志评为十大最佳建筑。他在中国的第一一个项目是上海新天地一一集文化、旅游、休闲于一体的开放式商业街区项目。他于2002年创立了伍德佳帕塔设计咨询(上海)有限公司(BWSS),之后又主持设计了杭州天地、武汉天地佛山岭南天地、虹桥天地、瑞虹新城月亮湾、蟠龙天地等一系列国内旧城改造或新建的大型街区式商业文化综合项目及武汉中山大道综合改造、广州恩宁路综合旧改等大型综合改造项目。BWSS自成立以来,始终秉承“以人为本”的设计理念,凭借独到的建筑商业运营眼光,努力为受众及业主打造集建筑与商业融为一体的典范。在设计上,BWSS努力探求建筑形式与功能之间的新联系,力求向世人展现一种新鲜、舒适、怡人的空间感受。Benjamin T.Wood(left),AlA,received a Master's degree in Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology(MIT)in 1984.The New Soldier Field he designed in Chicago,home of the Chicago Bears,was named one of the 1o best buildings by the New York Times.His first project in China was Shanghai Xintiandi-an open commercial block project integrating culture,tourism and leisure.He founded Studio Shanghai in 2002 before presiding the design of a series of largescale block type commercial and cultural projects that were renovated or newly built including Hangzhou Tiandi,Wuhan Tiandi,Foshan Lingnan Tiandi,Hongqiao Tiandi,Hall of the Moon of Ruihong Tiandi,and Panlong Tiandi;and comprehensive renovation projects including Wuhan Zhongshan Avenue Comprehensive Renovation and Guangzhou Enning Road Renovation.Since it's establishment,Studio Shanghai has always adhered to the"people-oriented"design concept with its unique vision of construction and commercial operations.In terms of design,Studio Shanghai strives to explore new connections between architectural form and function,to present always-fresh,comfortable and pleasant space experience to people.
