劳动力市场灵活性与企业出口行为:来自中国户籍制度改革的证据

摘　　要：以中国的户籍制度改革政策作为准自然实验,基于1998-2007年工业企业数据库,采用双重差分法实证研究了劳动力市场灵活性对企业出口行为的影响。研究发现,劳动力市场灵活性提高会显著降低企业的出口倾向和出口强度,在经过一系列有效性检验以及稳健性检验后,这一结论依然成立。从影响渠道来看,劳动力市场灵活性通过企业的产品创新和就业波动来影响企业的出口行为。劳动力市场灵活性对企业出口行为的影响因企业所有制、地理区位以及企业的规模而异,其主要降低了私营企业、东部和中部地区的企业、中小型企业的出口倾向和出口强度。Based on the industrial enterprises database from 1998 to 2007,this paper takes China’s household registration reform policy as a quasi-natural experiment,using the difference-in-difference method to empirically study the impact of labor market flexi⁃bility on enterprises'export behavior.The study finds that the improvement of labor market flexibility will significantly reduce the ex⁃port willingness and export intensity of enterprises.After a series of validity tests and robustness tests,this conclusion remains valid.From the perspective of influence channels,labor market flexibility affects the export behavior of enterprises through product innova⁃tion and employment fluctuations.The impact of labor market flexibility on firm export behavior varies with firm ownership,geographic location,and firm size,and it mainly reduces the export willingness and export intensity of private firms,firms in the eastern and cen⁃tral regions,and small and medium-sized firms.
