莎士比亚戏剧的悲剧性刍议——以“四大悲剧”为例

摘　　要：莎士比亚的“四大悲剧”即《哈姆莱特》《奥瑟罗》《李尔王》《麦克白》,以鲜明的时代性登上世界戏剧艺术的顶峰,是莎士比亚戏剧艺术的精华。文章从对人存在价值的否定、纯洁美好爱情的破灭、人与人和谐美好关系的幻灭三个方面探讨“四大悲剧”的悲剧性,挖掘莎士比亚悲剧中所蕴含的深刻思想性及透过悲剧现象所散发出的人性光辉。Shakespeare’s“four tragedies”,Hamlet,Othello,King Lear and Macbeth which ascend to the top of the world’s dramatic art with distinct features of times,are the essence of Shakespeare’s dramatic art.This paper discusses the tragic characteristics of the“four tragedies”from three aspects:the negation of the value of human existence,the destruction of pure and beautiful love,and the disillusion of harmonious and beautiful relationship between people,and explores the profound thought in Shakespeare’s tragedies and the brilliance of human nature through the tragic phenomenon.
