In order to prevent the occurrence of reservoir damage, the shielding temporary plugging technology has optimized the selection of temporary plugging agent particles, the formation of physical and chemical film, and the research and development of bionic ultra-double hydrophobic agent to reduce the surface tension on the basis of the first generation of“1/3 bridging rule”,and solving the problem of difficulty in the selection of temporary plugging agent particles of the first generation of temporary plugging technology. For the reservoir that have been damaged in the process of drill and completion, the emergence of acidizing plugging removal technology and physical plugging removal technologies has solved the damage problem to a certain extent. This paper reviews the types of reservoir damage, the prevention of reservoir damage, and the plugging removal technology to solve the existing reservoir damage in the process of drilling and completion, which can provide reference for scholars in the research of plugging removal technology.
