偏离、冲突与抵制——《卡特斯基尔瀑布》中的犹太异托邦

摘　　要：简要介绍艾丽格拉·古德曼及其《卡特斯基尔瀑布》;借助福柯的“异托邦”理论和德·塞托的日常生活实践理论分析小说中犹太社区的“偏离异托邦”特征以及犹太空间与白人空间之间的冲突,进而揭示自我隔绝的宗教戒律与白人的种族主义给犹太社区的发展带来的困境;探讨犹太个体改用白人空间以生产犹太文化的空间实践,认为这种抵制虽弱小,却为犹太人拓展生活空间开启了一种可能性。This paper briefly introduces Allegra Goodman and her Kaaterskill Falls.Guided by Foucault's theory about heterotopia,and de Certeau's theory of daily life practice,this paper analyzes the characteristics of Jewish"heterotopias of deviation"and the conflict between Jewish space and white space,so as to reveal the dilemma the Jewish community faces due to the rigid isolationist religious policies and white people's racist barriers.This paper probes into the spatial practice of Jewish individuals using white space to produce Jewish culture,and points out that although the resistance is mild,it anticipates a possibility of expanding Jewish living space.
