摘　　要：Through briefly introducing and sorting out the formation process of the major original assertion of“铸牢中华民族共同体意识”,as well as examining,analyzing and comparing the English translations of this assertion in the China's official documents,this paper proposes that the English translation that more appropriately reflects"铸牢中华民族共同体意识"should be:"foster a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation".This paper argues that unifying the English translation of“铸牢中华民族共同体意识”in our official documents will help us promote this important and original assertion in the world in a comprehensive and accurate manner,and better inform the outside of how China has been doing her ethnic work in the new era with the main line of fostering a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation.
