一场夹缝于新旧文学之中的文化博弈——黎烈文“腰斩”张资平事因新考

摘　　要：黎烈文“腰斩”张资平的《时代与爱的歧路》是现代文学史上一桩著名的公案。黎烈文之所以如此,学界一般认为是顺应读者要求所致。但结合当时的文坛现状来看,黎烈文“腰斩”张资平的小说并非是读者之故,而是新旧文坛明争暗斗下的必然之举。黎烈文替换周瘦鹃担纲《自由谈》新主编,触及了旧派文人的利益并引发他们的攻讦。而周瘦鹃重新拥有新的发声阵地《春秋》后与《自由谈》展开了争夺读者地盘的较量,在这个过程中,黎烈文约请的《时代与爱的歧路》成为了旧派文人的众矢之的。彼时,张资平的小说创作正走下坡路,新文学作家亦对其创作表示不满。于是,身处夹缝之中的黎烈文迫于压力,只得“腰斩”《时代与爱的歧路》以平息纷争。The withdrawal of Zhang Ziping's novel The Forked Road of Time and Love by Li Liewen is a famous case in the history of modern literature.The reason,why Li Liewen is like this(generally believed by the academic circle),is due to complying with readers'requirements.However,considering the situation in the literary world at that time,Li Liewen made this decision not because of the requirements of the readers,but because of the pressure of the old and new literary world.Li Liewen replaced Zhou Shoujuan as the new editor in Free Talk,which touched on the interests of the old literary writers and sparked off their criticism.After Zhou Shoujuan became the editor of Spring and Autumn,he began to compete with Free Talk to gain more readers.During this process,The Forked Road of Time and Love became a target of criticism among the old literary writers.At that time,Zhang Ziping's literature was on the decline,and new literary writers also expressed dissatisfaction with his creation.So,under pressure,Li Liewen,who was trapped between the cracks,had to withdraw his manuscript of The Forked Road of Time and Love to quell the dispute.
