摘　　要：高尔夫是当今国际上广泛开展的一项体育运动。高尔夫球场的设计和建造是在特定土地上的大地艺术创作过程。从早期由大自然的鬼斧神工塑造的天然球场,到人类能够熟练掌握科学和艺术地设计建造球场,经历了近百年的历程。本文系统地梳理了从19世纪80年代到20世纪90年代期间高尔夫球场设计建造的发展脉络、重要时期及设计理念的演变,特别阐述和总结了土壤特征及土壤科学的发展对高尔夫球场设计建造的重要影响。这对提高高尔夫球场草坪养护管理水平及规范球场的健康有序发展具有一定的指导意义。Golf is a widely played sport in the world today.Golf course architecture is recognized as a distinct art form in certain areas.It has taken nearly a century from the early times when courses were shaped by nature to the period with the construction of golf courses via technology.In this study,we systematically review the history of golf course architecture from around 1880 to 1980,including the division of important periods and the evolution of the philosophy of planning and design.In particular,the key influence of soil characteristics and the application of soil science to the design and construction of golf courses has been expounded and summarized.The results of the study are helpful in the building of high-quality,environmentally friendly golf courses at low cost and can play a key role in improving the level of golf course turf maintenance.
