多模态翻译视域下新时代中国国家形象的建构——以甘肃省政府的三个英文网站为例

摘　　要：在数字媒体、信息技术高速发展的今天,对外宣传、政府英文网站建设是国家形象建构的重中之重。以甘肃省政府的三个英文网站为例,从文化历史、政治经济、地理民俗三个方面分析多模态翻译对国家形象的建构作用,提出在今后的地方政府英文网站建设中,需要从搭建多模态国家翻译实践平台、建构微观、中观、宏观三层次模型、建构多模态叙事与国家叙事的结合模式三方面进行尝试,讲好中国故事,建构中国作为负责任大国的国家形象。。With the rapid development of digital media and information technology today,the external publicity and the construction of government English website are the top priorities in the construction of Chinese national image.Taking the three English websites of Gansu government as an example,this paper analyzes the role of multi-modal translation in the construction of national image from three aspects:culture and history,politics and economy,geography and folklore.It also proposes that in the future construction of English website of local government,we need to build a multi-modal national translation platform,a“micro-meso-macro”three-level model,as well as a combined pattern of multi-modal narrative plus national narrative,so that China’s story is well spread and China’s national image as a responsible major country is well constructed.
