In recent years, there has been significant attention on the intricate relationship between obesity and cardiovascular diseases, particularly concerning thyroid function and metabolic indices within obese individuals. This paper delves into an in-depth exploration of the association between obesity and thyroid function, encompassing the levels of TSH(Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone),FT4(Free Thyroxine),FT3(Free Triiodothyronine),and their correlation with BMI(Body Mass Index). The research findings suggest that elevated TSH levels may be linked to obesity and metabolic abnormalities, particularly evident among individuals with secondary obesity.Furthermore, the elevation of TSH levels may impact glucose metabolism, uric acid levels, and hypertension, potentially increasing the risk of cardiovascular complications in obese patients.
