河南西峡县南凹东岭旧石器地点调查简报

摘　　要：南凹东岭地点隶属于西峡县五里桥稻田沟村南凹组。2020年9—10月,南阳市文物考古研究所和吉林大学考古学院组队,对西峡境内进行旧石器考古专项调查,发现该地点。收获石器56件。石器类型丰富,包括石核、完整石片、断片、二类工具、三类工具及断块。工具类型包括刮削器、尖刃器、砍砸器、凹缺器、手镐及石球等。原料以石英为主,还有辉长岩和石灰岩等。结合地层堆积及地质年代,初步判定该地点的形成年代大致处于中更新世。Nanaodongling Locality lies at Nanao Group,Daotiangou Village,Wuliqiao Township,Xixia County.From September to October,2020,Nanyang Municipal Research Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and School of Archaeology Jilin University organized a team to carry out a Paleolithic Special Survey in Xixia and discovered this locality.56 stone artifacts were collected.They are rich in types,including cores,completed flakes,fragments,second-class tools,third-class tools and chunks.The tool types include scrapers,pointed choppers,notched choppers,picks,stone balls,etc.The main raw materials are quartz,gabbro and limestone.Judging from the stratigraphic accumulation and the geological age,it is preliminarily determined that the geological age of the locality is probably dated to the Middle Pleistocene.
