陈旭麓的进步史观及其书写实践——以《近代中国社会的新陈代谢》为中心  

Chen Xuelu's View of Progressive History and his Writing Practice:Focusing on The Metabolism of Modern Chinese Society

摘　　要：陈旭麓是20世纪研究中国近代史的史学家,他以新陈代谢为线索书写了历史在螺旋中前进的史学叙事。陈旭麓对进步的理解经历了三次变化:从最初的与守旧对立到思考递变,再到对历史哲学的探索。在陈旭麓的新陈代谢叙事中,民众是历史进步的动力,更替是历史进步的形态,辩证是支撑历史进步的信念。从进步史观的角度考察新陈代谢叙事,可见陈旭麓历史哲学的两大特性:注重反思的学术态度,坚持历史与理论的统一。Chen Xuelu,a historian of modern Chinese history in the 20th century,used metabolism as a clue to engage in a historiographical discourse in which history moves in a spiral.Chen Xulu's understanding of progress underwent three changes:from an initial confrontation with the conservatism to a reflection on transmutation and then to an exploration of the philosophy of history.In the metabolic discourse of Chen Xulu,the people are the driving force of historical progress,the alternating renewal process is the form of historical progress,and dialectic is the belief that underpins it.From the perspective of the progressive historical framework,an examination of the metabolic discourse reveals two characteristics of Chen Xulu's philosophy of history:focusing on the academic attitude of reflection and adhering to the integration of history and theory.
