Graded reading is a“child-oriented”children's reading model originated in developed countries, which is an effective way to improve children's reading ability. At present,in the process of promoting children's graded Chinese reading in public libraries, there are some problems, such as the lack of authoritative industry guidance standards and the difficulty of grading public library collections. Therefore,it is a problem that public libraries need to think about to understand children's graded Chinese reading and its necessity and further realize children's graded Chinese reading. This paper discusses how to promote children's graded Chinese reading in public libraries.
