摘　　要：《金童》是英国小说家佩内洛普·菲茨杰拉德创作的第一部小说,讲述了大英博物馆内的一桩谋杀案。以20世纪70年代开始的新博物馆运动为出发点,认为博物馆是小说最重要的一个隐喻,诠释着人与物、知识与权力、大众文化与精英文化等之间的关系,反映了英国社会经历的“霸权”与“反霸权”冲突,由此衍生出对文化的不同界定,表达了作家的一种共同文化诉求。The Golden Child,debut novel of British novelist Penelope Fitzgerald,is about a murder committed in the British Museum.Based on the New Museum Movement in the 1970s,this paper argues that museum is the most important metaphor in the novel,illustrating the relations between human beings and objects,knowledge and power,mass culture and elite culture,reflecting the conflict between establishment and anti-establishment,which derives different definitions towards culture and expresses the author's pursuit of a community culture.
