摘　　要：隆8A系湖南民升种业科学研究院有限公司以大粒优质三系保持系隆398B为母本,配合力好的三系保持系天丰B为父本进行杂交,系统选育至F4代,再利用T98A杂交和回交7代育成的三系不育系,具有米质优、配合力好等特点,2016年9月通过广东省农作物品种审定委员会鉴定。介绍了隆8A的选育过程、特征特性、配组表现及其繁殖技术要点。Long 8A,derived from the cross of Long 398B,a three-line maintainer with large grain and high quality,as the female parent and Tianfeng B,a three-line maintainer with high combining ability,as the male parent,whose F4 plants obtained by pedigree selection were testcrossed to T98A and followed by successive backcrossing for seven generations,was developed by Hunan Minsheng Seed Science Research Institute Co.,Ltd..Long 8A is characteristic of good grain quality and high combining ability.It passed the identification of Guangdong Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in September 2016.This paper introduced the breeding process,characteristics and hybrid performance and key technical points in multiplication of Long 8A.
