摘  要:理解消费过度敏感性现象是释放消费潜力、畅通内循环和促进高质量发展的关键。本文从国内市场一体化视角切入,基于中国家庭追踪调查(CFPS)和交通网络密度多层次匹配面板数据,系统考察交通基础设施条件对家庭消费过度敏感性的影响。研究发现,跨越式发展的交通基础设施网络对沿途家庭的消费过度敏感性程度具有显著缓解效应。研究结论在运用多维工具变量法及一系列稳健性检验后依然成立。区分运输方式的异质性检验还发现,铁路基础设施的缓解作用最大,高速公路次之,等外公路又次之,水路和其他等级公路作用有限。机制检验显示,交通基础设施改善会通过提升国内市场一体化程度的渠道来影响家庭的消费过度敏感性。本文证实完善交通基础设施体系有助于建设全国统一大市场,缓解过度敏感性,激发消费活力,为国家践行扩大内需战略提供参考,为实务界从更多维的角度理解家庭消费决策行为提供了新的思路,也为交通基础设施的经济外溢效应提供了新的依据。Transportation infrastructure and household consumption are important issues in China.Due to excess sensitivity of household consumption,predictable income changes will cause substantial changes in consumption behavior.Understanding the excess sensitivity of consumption is the key to unleashing consumption potential,unblocking domestic flows and promoting high-quality development in China.However,no studies have investigated the relation between transportation network density and excess sensitivity of consumption.This paper matches panel data from the China Family Panel Studies(CFPS)of 2010,2012,2014,2016,2018 and macro transportation network density to explore the impact of transportation infrastructure on excess sensitivity of household consumption from the perspective of domestic market integration.This paper intends to illustrate the importance of transportation infrastructure and its influence on excess sensitivity of household consumption.Besides a series of robustness tests,heterogeneity tests and endogenous issues tests such as the instrumental variable method,we further explored the working mechanism of this effect.No previous research in the transportation infrastructure literature has accurately examined these problems.The results show that fast-growing transportation infrastructure significantly weakens the degree of excess sensitivity of household consumption.This conclusion was still robust after the instrumental variable method and a series of robustness tests were used.According to the heterogeneity tests,in terms of the weakening effect of transportation infrastructure,railroads rank the first,highways the second,substandard roads the third,waterways the fourth,and roads of other grades at the bottom.The mechanism test shows that transportation infrastructure has significant influence on the degree of excess sensitivity of household consumption by promoting domestic market integration.This paper confirms the weakening effect of transportation infrastructure.Improved transportation infrastructure
