摘　　要：地图的价值自诞以来就被人们广泛而深刻地认知。新时代,地图的种类、用途、内容、形态、材质等都发生了变化。读者关注的重点超越了地图固有的科学性、实用性和艺术性,用户更关注地图主题表达方式的舒适度和体验度。地图承载内容的边界和地图适用范围不断扩大给地图从业者带来了巨大的挑战和机遇。新时代的地图文化要求地图创作人员在地图创作全程对地图的内涵和形态有深刻的认知与理解。该文探讨了近代地图发展过程中出现的各类现象和问题,思考了新时代地图文化发展过程中所面临的地图形态泛化与地图内涵专业化等问题。倡议地图从业人员面对这次地图发展机遇和挑战,在坚守地图固有的科学性、实用性和艺术性的基础上,大胆尝试融合与创新。The value of maps has been widely and deeply recognized by people since its birth.In the new era,the types,uses,contents,forms and materials of maps have changed.The focus of readers'attention goes beyond the inherent science,practicality and artistry of the map,and users are more concerned about the comfort and experience of the expression of the map theme.The boundary of map content and the expanding scope of map application have brought great challenges and opportunities to map practitioners.Map culture in the new era requires map creators to have a deep cognition and understanding of the connotation and form of maps in the whole process of map creation.This paper discusses various phenomena and problems in the course of modern map development,and considers the problems of map form generalization and map connotation specialization in the course of map culture development in the new era.It is proposed that map practitioners face the opportunities and challenges of map development,and boldly try to integrate and innovate on the basis of adhering to the inherent scientific,practical and artistic nature of maps.
