摘 要:长城、黄河是最典型的中华文化符号,作为文学意象被赋予丰富的意涵。梳理、阐发、弘扬之,具有不可替代的意义和价值。长城的多种面相,在文学中能够得到更充分的表现。长城是世界范围内最为著名的中国象征之一,孟姜女哭倒长城的悲惨故事,同样影响广泛而深远。黄河是我们的母亲河,是中华文明的摇篮,黄河的文学镜像也成为北方文学乃至中国文学的重要原型。北方长城地带和黄河几字弯,都可以纳入“北疆文化”的大范畴里来。The Great Wall and the Yellow River are the most iconic symbols of Chinese culture and,as literary images,they are endowed with rich implications.The process of organizing,elucidating,and promoting these symbols carries irreplaceable significance and value.The multifaceted aspects of the Great Wall find fuller expression in literature.The Great Wall is one of the most famous symbols of China worldwide,and the tragic story of Meng Jiangnüweeping over the Great Wall also has a wide and profound impact.The Yellow River,our“Mother River,”is the cradle of Chinese civilization.Its literary representation has become an important prototype in Northern and even all of Chinese literature.Both the Great Wall region in the North and the Yellow River’s great bends can be included in the broader category of“Northern Border Culture.”
