摘 要:中国电影在20世纪初的发生是西方现代性全球扩张和中国社会发生重大转型两者共同作用的结果,发生期的中国电影和世纪之交的中国社会大转型深度互嵌,其中小城镇因其在中国社会所起到的独特作用而成为电影的重要时空体。在辨析小城镇影像初显轨迹的基础上,本文发现《张欣生》是最早完整描摹小城镇社会的中国电影,其价值在于它建构了一个20世纪早期江南小镇的时空体雏形。同时,小城镇时空体是动态、开放和多维度的复杂构型,在此后不同时期的中国电影中逐步丰富和完善。The emergence of Chinese film in the early 2Oth century was the result of the combined effect of the global expansion of Western modernity and the significant transformation of Chinese society.The Chinese film in its infancy and the great social transition in China at the turn of the century was deeply inter-embedded,during which small towns became the important space-time frame of films because of their unique role in Chinese society.Based on the analysis of the initial traces of small town images,this paper finds that Zhang Xinsheng is the earliest film to fully depict the society of Chinese small town.Its value lies in its construction of a space-time frame prototype of a small town in the early 2oth century in the south of China.Furthermore,the space-time frame of small towns is a dynamic,open,multidimensional,and complex structure,which is gradually enriched and improved in Chinese films during different periods.
