摘　　要：文章基于2008—2020年我国284个地级及以上城市的面板数据,采用双重差分法(DID)和中介效应模型研究了国家自主创新示范区政策对区域经济高质量发展的影响及其作用机制,并进行区域异质性和城市规模异质性分析。研究发现:(1)国家自主创新示范区政策对区域经济高质量发展具有显著的正向促进作用,这一结论在经过一系列稳健性检验后依然成立;(2)国家自主创新示范区政策主要通过科技创新效应和人才集聚效应来提高区域经济高质量发展水平;(3)西部地区设立国家自主创新示范区对经济高质量发展的正向促进作用更大,其正向促进效应存在由西向东逐渐减小的特征;国家自主创新示范区的设立对经济高质量发展的正向促进作用在“大城市”更为明显。Based on the panel data of 284 cities at prefecture level and above in China from 2008 to 2020,this paper adopts the DID method and the intermediary effect model to study the influence of national innovation demonstration zone policies on high-quality development of regional economy and its mechanism,and then analyzes the regional heterogeneity and urban size heterogeneity.The findings are shown as follows:(1)The national innovation demonstration zone policy has a significant positive promoting effect on the high-quality development of regional economy,and this conclusion still holds after a series of robustness tests.(2)The national innovation demonstration zone policies mainly improve the high-quality development level of regional economy through the effect of scientific and technological innovation and the effect of talent agglomeration.(3)The establishment of national innovation demonstration zone in the western region has a greater positive effect on high-quality economic development,and its positive effect gradually decreases from the west to the east.The positive role of national innovation demonstration zones in promoting high-quality economic development is more obvious in“big cities”.
