摘　　要：冯骥才迄今一共创作了四部“怪事奇谈”系列长篇小说,近期出版的《单筒望远镜》距前三部小说的创作间隔长达30余年。如果说其他三部作品关注的是中国文化的劣根性、中国文化的自我束缚力,那么《单筒望远镜》则将东西文化碰撞的反思、反省推进了一个更新的层次。这部岁月的沉淀之作实现了旧时天津城市想象抒写的突破,是新时期作家关于东西方文化关系的启蒙之作,以期让两种文化在相互理解中更好地认识自己。Mr.Feng Jicai has created a total of four“Strange Tales”series of novels to date.The recently published Monocular was written more than 30 years after the first three novels.If the other three novels focus on the inferiority of Chinese culture and the self-restraint of Chinese culture,Monocular reveals the reflection and introspection of the collision between Chinese and Western cultures to a new level.This sedimentation of time has achieved a breakthrough in the imaginative writing of the old Tianjin city.It is an enlightening work on the relationship between Eastern and Western cultures in the new era to enable Eastern and Western cultures to understand themselves better through mutual understanding.
