国内价值链分工能够提升企业的专利质量吗?——基于微观数据的实证检验

摘　　要：“双循环”发展格局是我国经济高质量发展的重大战略和有效路径。在匹配中国工业企业数据库、中国海关数据库、中国企业专利申请数据库数据的基础上,分别测算了企业层面的国内价值链嵌入程度和专利质量,并实证检验了国内价值链嵌入对于企业专利质量的影响。研究发现,国内价值链嵌入能够显著提升企业发明专利和实用新型专利的专利质量,能够有效改善全球价值链嵌入带来的低端锁定效应。国内价值链嵌入通过创新动力提升效应、人力资本提升效应和融资约束改善效应三种机制发挥作用。从企业异质性来看,国内价值链嵌入对于内资企业和一般贸易企业的正向促进作用要大于外资企业和加工贸易企业。因此,应充分利用国内超大规模市场优势,加快构建创新主导的高质量国内价值链。The“dual circulation”development pattern is a major strategy and an effective pathway for high-quality economic development in China.This article measures the degree of domestic value chain embeddedness,and the patent quality at the enterprise level,based on merged data from the Chinese Industrial Enterprise Database(Customs Database)and the Patent Application Database of Chinese Enterprises,and the influence of domestic value chain embeddedness on patent quality was empirically tested.We found that domestic value chain embeddedness can significantly improve the quality of patents for enterprise inventions and utility models,and can effectively improve the“low-end locking”effect brought about by overly embedding in the global value chain.It mainly acts through three mechanisms;the enhancement of innovative power,the enhancement of human capital,and the relaxation of financing constraints.From the perspective of corporate heterogeneity,the positive effect of domestic value embeddedness on domestic general trading companies is greater than it is on foreign trade processing firms.We should therefore make full use of the advantages of the domestic ultra-large scale market and speed up the construction of innovation-led,high-quality domestic value chains.
