国外朝贡制度研究的论争与反思

摘　　要：近年来,肇自海外中国学的朝贡制度(tributary system)研究逐渐突破传统史学理路,进入国际关系学视野。英语学界从国际政治视角研究朝贡制度的专著、论文数量可观,渐成一股“复兴朝贡制度”(resurrecting the tribute system)潮流。权威汉学刊物《哈佛亚洲学报》对这一潮流给予了及时关注,设特刊讨论该现象。以《哈佛亚洲学报》的“朝贡制度”特刊为中心,梳理围绕“复兴朝贡制度”话题的焦点问题,有助于清晰呈现学者间的共识与分歧,具有以小见大、管中窥豹的独特价值与意义。In recent years,the study of tributary system,originated from overseas Chinese studies,has gradually broken through the traditional historical theory and entered the field of International Relationship.There are a great number of monographs and papers about the tribute system from the perspective of international politics in the English speaking community,and a rising trend is"resurrecting the tribute system"in the field of IR.Harvard Journal of Asiatic Studies,an authoritative sinology journal,paid timely attention to this trend and set up a special issue to discuss this phenomenon.Focusing on the special issue of"Tributary System"of Harvard Journal of Asiatic Studies,to sort out important issues on that topic helps to clearly present the agreements and disagreements among scholars,which is of unique value and significance of seeing the big from the small and looking at the whole.
