摘　　要：横向竞合是企业在新产品开发中获取异质性互补资源和实现技术协同攻关的重要途径。基于229家企业样本数据,检验了横向竞合与新产品开发优势双维度间关系,以及两种竞合模式的调节作用。研究发现:横向竞合对新产品创新性、新产品开发速度均具有正向影响。股权竞合模式强化了横向竞合对新产品创新性的正向影响但弱化了对新产品开发速度的正向影响,契约竞合模式则强化了横向竞合对新产品开发速度的正向影响但弱化了对新产品创新性的正向影响。As China transitions to the new normal economy,new product development(NPD)has emerged as a crucial strategic tool for enterprises aiming to sustain a leading position in the market.However,the scarcity of innovation resources and the uncertainty of the institutional environment often restrict enterprises'NPD activities.As a result,enterprises commonly seek cooperation to acquire complementary resources and mitigate risks.Among all kinds of cooperative relations,the cooperation with direct competitors,known as horizontal coopetition,has gradually gained the attention of scholars.Notably,horizontal coopetition not only generates joint value but also allows enterprises to attain additional profits through the resources and new technologies acquired in such collaborations.How-ever,the inherent contradictory nature of coopetition also gives rise to potential risks,including opportunistic behavior,knowledge spillovers,and bargaining issues.Therefore,optimizing the value of horizontal coopetition to enhance NPD advantage has become a critical challenge for enterprises.Based on a sample of 229 enterprises,this research examines the relationship between horizontal coo-petition and NPD advantage,as well as the moderating effect of the two coopetition modes.The results show that horizontal coopetition has a positive effect on both the new product innovativeness(NPI)and the new product development speed(NPDS).Equity coopeti-tion mode strengthens the positive effect of horizontal coopetition on NPI but weakens its effect on NPDS,while contractual coopetition mode strengthens the positive effect of horizontal coopetition on NPDS but weakens its effect on NPI.This study has important theoretical significance in three aspects.First,this study focuses on the specific type of horizontal coope-tition and refines the related research on the coopetition theory.It not only responds to the call of scholars to refine the study of coopeti-tion type but also broadens research on horizontal coopetition in the field of NPD research.Second,
