摘 要:玛莎•诺曼的《晚安,妈妈》深入探讨了母女关系观照下的母爱和规训。剧中,杰茜和母亲塞尔玛的母女关系失去了传统意义上的情感依托和治愈力量。杰茜在日常生活空间中处于“被看”的状态,身体也一直在被“驯服”,囿于话语的牢笼,最终完全丧失了主体性。这段母女关系对杰茜而言已不再具有母爱的救赎意义,而是蒙上了规训的悲情色彩。Martha Norman’s 'Night,Mother delves into maternal love and discipline in the context of the mother-daughter relationship.In the drama,the mother-daughter relationship between Jessie and her mother Thelma loses its traditional emotional support and healing power.Jessie is in a state of“being seen”in her daily life,and her body has been“tamed”,confined to the cage of discourse,and finally completely lost her subjectivity.For Jessie,this mother-daughter relationship no longer has the redemptive meaning of maternal love,but is overshadowed by the pathos of discipline.
