摘　　要：西方古典学自20世纪传入中国后逐渐发展、壮大,成果日渐积累,张巍教授的新著《西方古典学研究入门》便是其中的代表。此书内容精审且实用,着重介绍了古典语文学的研究路径。同时,此书立意高远,直指古典学在西方所面临的危机,强调要“经由古典学术通达古典精神”。实际上,国内的古典学建设虽已取得相当成果,但也存在学派对立、力量分散等问题。要改变古典学发展的衰颓态势,我们需要真正人文主义的发问,需要提出新问题、新理论,然而这些恰恰是当前古典学所缺乏的。Classics has made a great development since its introduction to China in the 20th century.Recently,Professor Zhang Wei published his new book,An Introduction to Classical Studies,which is a representative achievement of Classics in China.The book is sophisticated and practical,especially focusing on the philology.Moreover,the book is concerned with the crisis of Classics in the West,and emphasizes the path to“access the classical spirit through classical scholarship”.Although the construction of Classics in China has considerable accomplishments,there are some problems such as opposing schools.In order to change the decline of Classics,we need to inquire with true humanism and to put forward new questions and theories,which are exactly what Classics lacks at present.
