《诗经·卷耳》“虺隤”异文考辨

摘　　要：历代学者普遍认为《诗经·卷耳》篇中“虺隤”一词为“联绵字”,大体为“病”的意思,认为训释“联绵字”无需拘泥于字形。但是摆脱古人“联绵字”观念的束缚,搜集“虺隤”的异文,进而从文字上加以分析,发现“瘣隤”为其本字,且是今人观念中的同义复词,意为“因过度劳累而致某部位肿胀”。Scholars through the ages generally believe that the word "Hui Tui" in The Book of Songs:Juan Er is a "lianmianzi"(Chinese-words consisting two characters,often alliterated or rhymed),which roughly means "disease",and the interpretation of "lianmianzi" isn't confined to the shape of the word.However,breaking away from the ancients' conception of "lianmianzi",we collect the variants of the word "Hui Tui",and analyze them from the text.It is found that "Hui Tui" is the original word,and is a synonym compound in the modern conception.It means swelling in a certain area caused by overwork.
