摘　　要：《死亡间歇》是葡萄牙文学家萨拉马戈的后期代表作。小说以“死亡间歇”的设定展开叙事,前三分之二叙述了死亡中止后的末日图景,后三分之一则描绘了“死亡”女士与大提琴手相爱的故事。小说通过客观叙述政府、“黑手黨”和个体家庭三方共同制造的非正常死亡事件,展现人性罪恶的暴露和以爱建构的伦理道德被消解的全过程;又以双重叙述视角叙说“死亡”与大提琴手相爱过程中的形象转变,凸显爱和美的塑造力量。透过死亡叙事,萨拉马戈传达出以抗争、热爱、悲悯的姿态直面死亡的精神内核。Death with Interruptions is the late representative work of Portuguese writer Saramago.The novel begins with the setting of“death interval”,its first two-thirds describing the doomsday picture after the suspension of death,and the last third the story of the love between the“death”lady and the cellist.Through the objective narration of the abnormal death events jointly created by the government,“máphia”and individual families,the novel shows the exposure of human evil and the whole process of the elimination of the ethics constructed with love.It also tells the transformation of the image of“death”and cellist in the process of falling in love with each other from a dual narrative perspective,highlighting the shaping power of love and beauty.Through the death narrative,Saramago conveys the spiritual core of facing death with the attitude of struggle,love and compassion.
