摘　　要：位于越南河内的法国远东学院是法国研究东方文化的中心,备受中日学人推崇。中国学界聚焦与中国史地研究相关之近缘学,将该院学人的汉学成果“转法为汉”,以“羽翼正史”;日本学界将远东学院视为越南学的宝库,重视其馆藏文献的编目、影印与研究,以服务二战期间日本的南进战略。这些差异深刻影响中日双方与远东学院的交流。于中国学界而言,除部分弥补国内西域、南海研究成果不足外,其他影响极其有限;日本学界的越南研究主观上为侵略越南服务,客观上促成日本越南学国际地位的提升。全面了解中日学界与远东学院的互动,可深入认识近代以来中日对外学术交流的特点,为推动亚太区域国别史、中国与周边国家关系史研究提供借鉴。Ecole Frangaise D'Extreme-Orient,located in Hanoi of Vietnam,was the center of the French study of oriental culture,and was highly respected by Chinese and Japanese scholars.The Chinese academic circles focused on learning related to the study of Chinese history and geography,and turned the Sinological achievements of the college"from French into Chinese"in order to"supplement the official histories."The Japanese academic circles regarded Ecole Francaise D'Extreme-Orient as a treasure of Vietnamese Learning,and attached importance to the cataloging,photocopying and research of its literature collection,so as to serve Japan's Southern Expansion strategy during World War II.These differences profoundly affected China and Japan's exchanges with Ecole Frangaise D'Extreme-Orient.For the Chinese academic circles,except for partially making up for the lack of domestic research results in the Western Regions and the South China Sea,other influences were extremely limited.The Vietnamese studies of the Japanese academic circles subjectively served Japan's invasion of Vietnam,and objectively promoted the promotion of the international status of the Japan's Vietnamese Learning.A comprehensive understanding of China and Japan's interaction with Ecole Frangaise D'Extreme-Orient can provide a deep realization of China and Japan's different characteristics in academic exchanges with other countries since modern times,providing references for promoting the study of the history of countries in the Asia-Pacific region and the history of relations between China and neighboring countries.
