摘 要:莫言的小说《白狗秋千架》和由之改编的电影《暖》具有不同的语境:小说《白狗秋千架》在新时期革故鼎新中接续五四启蒙文化主题,完成书写中心和边缘位置的互换,既突破了一元化书写的禁锢,又成为新意识形态的表征;电影《暖》建基在改革开放的场域中,简化了原著主题,注入新的意识形态意涵。在意义生产领域,小说《白狗秋千架》的背景为山东高密东北乡,天气、物候和动植物成为莫言故事产生的要素,凸显生命力的顽强;而改编的电影故事发生在江西婺源(古徽州),北方的生硬被南方阴柔所替代,与爱情起伏、生活阴郁情调和哀而不伤的风格相契合。小说善于留白,没有给出乡村未来的发展走向,而改编的电影则以温情为底调,凸显乡土爱情的守护精神,坚定对乡土未来的信心,反驳现代社会的偏执。梳理电影与小说生产的不同语境、文化、场域和意象,可以发掘20世纪80年代和新世纪两个时段权力话语的位移,勾勒小说和电影在乡土社会变迁中不同的运作机制。Mo Yan’s novel White Dog Swinging Up and its film version Warm have different contexts:the novel White Dog Swinging Up inherits the theme of the May 4th Enlightenment in the new period,completing the exchange of writing center and marginal position,which not only breaks through the imprisonment of unified writing,but also becomes the symbol of new ideology;the film Warm is situated in the field of the reform and opening up,which simplifies the original theme and generates new ideological meaning.In the field of meaningful production,the background of the novel White Dog Swinging Up is the northeast township of Gaomi,Shandong Province.Weather,phenology and animals and plants have become significant elements of Mo Yan's story,highlighting the resilience of life;the story of adapted movie takes place in Wuyuan,Jiangxi(ancient Huizhou),and the rigidity of the north was replaced by the femininity of the south,which was in line with the ups and downs of love,gloomy mood of life and the mournful but not distressing style.The novel is good at leaving blank space and does not point out the future trends of the countryside,while the adapted film takes warm tones,highlighting the guardian spirit of love in the countryside,boosting confidence in the future of the countryside and refuting the paranoia of modern society.By combing the different contexts,cultures,fields and images of film and novel production,we can explore the displacement of power discourse in the 1980s and the new century,and outline the different operating mechanisms of novel and film in the rural social changes.
