Fever induced seizures(FS)are the most common type of seizures in children, and repeated episodes of FS may lead to brain damage. However,no effective methods have been found to prevent or prevent duplicate FS.The purpose of this study is to elucidate the inhibitory effect of total flavonoids from Sanyeqing(TFTH)on experimental repeated FS rats. The results showed that TFTH significantly prolonged the latent period of seizures in the hippocampus of FS young rats, shortened the duration of seizures, and improved hippocampal neuronal damage caused by FS.In addition,TFTH significantly reduced interleukin-1 in the hippocampus after FS modeling period of,the level of IL-1 was improved, and the level of anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-1ra was increased, correcting the imbalance between IL-1ra and IL-1β.Meanwhile,compared with the model group, the expression of type 1 IL-1 receptor(IL-1R1)in the hippocampus of rats treated with TFTH was significantly reduced.Research has found that TFTH may be able to inhibit repetitive FS induced infl ammatory response, which is related to regulating IL-1β/IL-1ra signaling.
