童濂设局注补《南》《北史》史事考

摘　　要：道光年间,两淮盐运使淮北监制同知童濂在扬州设局,延请刘文淇、杨亮、王翼凤、吴熙载、强溱,为《南》《北史》作注,姚莹为最后之“通校”与“润色”。汪士铎居家分任补撰志、表。姚莹致书童濂及局中诸子,纵论注史不易,并就注史的宗旨、内容、原则、方法等进行讨论,识议堪称精核。汪士铎补志,虽详略繁简不一,却能在短时间内充分网罗史料,重加梳理,使南北八代典章制度触目可观。自童濂弃世,书局遂散,兵燹迭至,《南》《北史》合注及志表书稿一度不知所踪。在后世学者存未刊、补阙佚、寻失稿的百般努力下,注与表虽不幸失而不可复得,志则大幸失而复得,终为完帙。童濂在骚雅道衰、寒士求食艰难之际设局修书,为当时学者提供庇护之所,足堪表彰。During the 28th to 29th year of Daoguang reign,Tong Lian,an official supervising salt transport in Huaibei,Anhui,established an institution in Yangzhou to invite Liu Wenqi,Yang Liang,Wang Yifeng,Wu Xizai,and Qiang Qin to write annotations for History of the Southern Dynasty and History of the Northern Dynasty.And Yao Ying"reviews"and"polishes"the two history eventually.Wang Shiduo wrote supplementary records and chronicles.Yao Ying wrote to Tong Lian and other scholars in the institution,discussing the difficulty of annotating history and discussing the purpose,content,principles,and methods of annotating history.Wang Shiduo's supplementary records,although somewhat detailed and complex,were able to fully collect historical materials in a short period of time and reorganize them,making the regulations and systems of the eight generations of the North and the South impressive After Tong Lian's death,the institution was cancelled.With the coming of wars,the notes and chronicles of History of the Southern Dynasty and History of the Northern Dynasty were once missing.Thanks to the various efforts of later generations of scholars to preserve unpublished works,make up for lost manuscripts,and find lost manuscripts,although the notes and chronicles were unfortunately lost and could not be recovered,records was fortunately lost and recovered,and thus the two were finally completed.Tong Lian's establishing an institution to compile books at a time when scholarly elegance was in decline and poor scholars were struggling to find food,provided a shelter for scholars at that time,which is worthy of commendation.
