摘　　要：1980年10月,由中国科学院自然科学史研究所组织召开的自然科学史学术会议及学会成立大会,是中国科技史界规模空前的盛会。这次会议的召开受到自1976年“文革”结束至1978年中国的政治变革、科技政策和规划,以及中国科学院副院长、党组副书记李昌的影响,是筹备工作经历搁置后该所联合所外力量重新筹备而获得的成果。这次会议恢复了中断24年的全国综合性科技史学术交流活动,展现了高质量的学术交流状态;遵循严谨程序成立了中国科学技术史学会,为日后国内和中国国际科技史交流活动的展开奠定重要的组织基础。这次会议是中国科技史事业走向繁荣的重要标志,反映了1980年中国科技史事业发生的历史性转变,推进了中国科技史的建制化历程,产生了深远的影响,在中国科学史学史上具有里程碑意义。China's NationalAcademicConference on the History of Natural Sciences and the Founding Conference of Chinese Society for the History of Science and Technology(Zhongguo Kexue Jishu Shi Xuehui中国科学技术史学会),organized by the Institute for the History of Natural Sciences of Chinese Academy of Sciences in October 1980,were grand conferences of unprecedented scale in the circle of the history of science and technology in China.The convening of the conferences was influenced by the political changes,policies and plans regarding science and technology from the end of the“Cultural Revolution”in 1976 to 1978,as well as Li Chang,Vice President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of Chinese Academy of Sciences.The conferences were the crystallization of re-preparation by the Institute for the History of Natural Sciences and external forces after the abeyance of the preparatory work.The conferences resumed China's national comprehensive academic exchange activities in the history of science and technology that had been interrupted for 24 years,demonstrated the high-quality status of academicexchanges,followed rigorous procedures to establish the Chinese Society for the History of Science and Technology,laying an important organizational foundation for future domestic and international exchange activities in the field of the history of science and technology in China.The conferences are an important symbol of the prosperity of the cause of history of science and technology in China,reflecting the historic transformation of the cause in 1980,had a profound impact on the cause's development,and were a milestone in the historiography of science and technology in China.
