摘　　要：《红字》是美国浪漫主义作家霍桑于1850年发表的长篇小说,白兰“婚内出轨”行为遭到当时社会的唾弃,并被佩戴上红色A字示众,在此过程中白兰仍坚定自我,坚守自己的“爱情”。白兰虽然“背叛”了婚姻,但她坚守住了自己的爱情。旧社会中女性的婚姻与爱情不是一帆风顺的,在父权社会压制下,多数女性走向没有爱情的婚姻“坟墓”,但在这样的社会中,白兰选择反抗,勇于追寻自己的爱情,在嘲讽、唾弃中刚毅不屈地活着,虽然其生命在多重打压下趋向灭亡,但其勇敢坚强、百折不屈、勇于追求自我的精神仍熠熠生辉。The Scarlet Letter is an American romantic writer novel written by Hawthorne and published in 1850.The hostess Lord Hester Brandy’s“marital infidelity”behavior gets despised by the society at that time,and she wears a red A character in public.In this process,Brandy still determines herself and sticks to her“love”.Although Brandy“betrayed”the marriage,but she sticks to her love.Women’s marriage and love is often not plain sailing in the old society.Under the patriarchal society,most women go towards a loveless marriage“grave”.However,in such a society,Brandy chooses resistance with her courage to pursue love,and lives with fortitude and perseverance in ridicule and in spit.Although her life tends to perish under multiple pressure,the spirit of being brave and strong,unyielding and daring to pursue oneself is still shining.
