Mitogen activated protein kinase(MAPK)signaling pathway is a highly conserved regulator of eukaryotic cell function, and plays an important role in regulating the inflammatory response, stress response and other physiological and pathological processes caused by external stimuli. The p38-MAPK pathway is one of the subfamilies of the MAPK pathway and plays an important role in cellular inflammation, tissue regeneration, and immune responses. The activation of p38-MAPK plays a key role in Chromatin remodeling and the activation of key myogenic transcription factors, while the activation of Myosatellite cell affects the regeneration and repair of skeletal muscle. This paper reviews the regulatory mechanisms of the p38-MAPK signaling pathway and its research progress in mediating skeletal muscle regeneration, aiming is to provide a theoretical basis for a deeper understanding of the related mechanisms and provide a certain clinical reference for further treatment of skeletal muscle injury.
