摘　　要：Altan Khan,an eminent statesman in Mongolian history,demonstrated exceptional leadership in the establishment of Tumod Banner.By welcoming a significant number of Han people from the mainland and implementing innovative economic policies,he fostered ethnic exchanges and harmonization,thus contributing significantly to the consolidation of a shared Chinese nation community.This article delves into Altan Khan's development of the planting industry in the Tumod Prairie,analyzing the reasons behind his decisions,specific measures undertaken,and the resulting impacts.It further highlights Altan Khan's pivotal role in facilitating exchanges and blending among various ethnic groups within the local region.
