摘 要:教师认知研究涉及教师的心理世界,即探析教师的所知、所信、所想。近年来,在英语教学的不同领域,有关教师认知的实证研究中出现诸多混合方法设计。因此,文章试图通过统计2018年至2023年6月发表在TESOL Quarterly,Language Teaching Research,The Modern Language Journal,SYSTEM四本期刊中有关高校英语教师认知的论文并采用混合方法设计的实证研究进行分析,尝试探讨有关高校英语教师认知研究中混合方法设计的问题及其研究现状。Research on teacher cognition explores the psychological world of teachers,that is what they know,believe and think.In recent years,many mixed-method designs have emerged in the empirical research on English teacher cognition in different areas of English language teaching.Therefore,this paper attempts to conduct empirical research on the cognition of college English teachers using mixed methods to analyze papers published in four journals:TESOL Quarterly,Language Teaching Research(LTR),The Modern Language Jour⁃nal(MLJ),and SYSTEM,from 2018 to June 2023,in an attempt to explore the issues concerning mixed methods design and the current state of research in cognitive research with college English teachers.
