波动式超声铣削方法与钛合金后处理工艺的相容性研究

摘  要:在航空航天难加工合金加工领域,波动式超声铣削已被证明是一种可以在切削过程中同时提升加工精度和表面强化效果的新型精加工方法。在实际工程应用中,为了消除表面残余拉应力、便于缺陷检测,航空钛合金构件往往需要进行热处理和酸洗后处理工艺。然而,这些后处理工艺对波动式超声铣削强化效果的影响尚未被揭示。为了理解波动式超声铣削与其后处理工艺的相容关系,开展了不同工艺流程下的波动式超声侧铣与普通侧铣钛合金试验,并表征与对比残余应力、亚表面形貌、显微硬度等表面完整性参数。结果表明,与传统铣削-热处理-酸洗工艺流程相比,热处理-铣削-酸洗下波动式超声侧铣的工件表面仍保留了数值为252.01 MPa的残余压应力。为此,所提出了对航空钛合金构件的热处理-波动式超声铣削-酸洗工艺流程,既可与现有后处理工艺相容,又可一定程度保留波动式超声铣削的强化效果。In the field of aerospace difficult-to-cut alloy machining,wave motion ultrasonic milling(WMUM)has been demonstrated as a new finish machining method which can simultaneously improve machining accuracy and surface strengthening during cutting.In engineering applications,post treatment processes such as heat treatment and pickling are necessary to be applied to aviation titanium alloy components to eliminate surface tensile residual stress and facilitate defect detection.However,the influence of these post treatment processes on the strengthening effect obtained by WMUM has not been revealed.In order to better comprehend the compatibility between WMUM and post-treatment process,experiments on both WMUM and conventional side milling of Ti-6Al-4V are conducted,and surface integrity parameters such as residual stress,subsurface morphology and microhardness are characterized.The results show that compared to that under conventional milling-heat treatment-pickling process,the workpiece surface in WMUM under heat treatment-milling-pickling process still retains a compressive residual stress of 252.01 MPa.Therefore,this paper proposes a heat treatment-WMUM-pickling process for aviation titanium alloy components,which is compatible with the existing post-treatment process and can retain the strengthening effect of wave milling.
