摘　　要：向古典文学寻求借鉴,未尝不是中国小说实现“现代”转型的一个路径。张爱玲小说对“大团圆”架构的化用、对“草蛇灰线”式线索的改写,分别在叙事结构与情节安排两方面体现出古典世情小说的时间观、因果观的影响。张爱玲对古典小说形式要素和审美取向的继承、转换,可视为不同于“五四”新文学脉络的另一种“现代”。Classical Chinese literature is revealing as one of the sources of the"modernity"turn in Chinese novels.From the perspective of narrative methods,Eileen Chang developed the classical Shiqing novels on both the structure of"Reunion"and plots of"Caoshehuixian",which indicates the traditional view of time and causation.How Eileen Chang's novels have emerged from the forms and the aesthetics of classical novels can be seen as another appearance of"modernization"of Chinese novels,which is different from the"May Fourth"new literature.
