摘　　要：20世纪90年代初,我国高等教育开始了新一轮改革。1998年,上海交通大学确立了建设世界一流大学的奋斗目标。1999年,上海农学院并入上海交通大学。2005年,上海交通大学与上海第二医科大学强强联合,组成新上海交通大学。在建设世界一流大学的背景下,上海交通大学通过加强国家重点实验室、部门重点实验室建设、加强实验室队伍建设、加强国家工程研究中心建设以及组建科技创新平台(基地)等四方面搭建一流的实验室和科研平台。持续而有效地提升学校科学研究水平,为学校早日实现世界一流大学目标提供了必要的条件。This paper outlines the brief development history of Shanghai Jiao Tong University(SJTU)laboratories from 1992 to 2006.Since 1990 s,SJTU has been listed as a leading university in the national“211 Project”and“985 Project”,and later merged with Shanghai Agricultural College and Shanghai Second Medical University in 1999 and 2005,respectively.SJTU is marching to attaining the goal of becoming a worldrenowned university laboratory base from the following steps in laboratory construction and management.The university emphases on and strengthens the construction of the state key laboratories;builds up its laboratory team;strengthens the construction of national engineering research centers;and persists with scientific innovation research platform.
