数字经济能缓解城市集聚阴影吗?--来自中国地级市的经验证据  

Can Digital Economy Alleviate the Shadow of Urban Agglomeration:Empirical Evidence from Prefecture-Level Cities in China

摘　　要：在利用拓展的D-S模型进行理论推导的基础上,采用2012—2020年中国地级市跨期截面模型对数字经济影响城市集聚阴影进行实证检验。研究结果表明,全国范围内存在城市集聚阴影,而数字经济弱化了地理距离的作用,可以缓解城市集聚阴影。在区域异质性分析中,东部和西部地区存在城市集聚阴影,而中部和东北地区基本不存在城市集聚阴影,其中东部地区的数字经济弱化了地理距离的作用,对城市集聚阴影具有缓解作用,西部地区的数字经济却强化了地理距离的作用,从而加剧了城市集聚阴影的程度;北方地区存在城市集聚阴影,其数字经济弱化了地理距离的作用,对城市集聚阴影具有缓解作用,而南方地区基本不存在城市集聚阴影。因此,政府应该加大相关基础设施建设的投资力度,引导欠发达地区因地制宜地打造新的增长极,从而缓解城市集聚阴影,加快实现区域协调发展的目标。Based on the theoretical derivation of the extended D-S model,this paper empirically tests the impact of digital economy on urban agglomeration shadow by using the intertemporal cross-section model of Chinese prefecture-level cities from 2012 to 2020.The empirical results show that urban agglomeration shadow exists nationwide,but digital economy weakens the effect of geographical distance,which can alleviate the influence of urban agglomeration shadow.In the analysis of regional heterogeneity,urban agglomeration shadow exists in the eastern and western regions,while there is no urban agglomeration shadow in the central and northeast regions.The digital economy in the eastern regions weakens the effect of geographic distance and has a mitigating effect on urban agglomeration shadow,while the digital economy in the western regions strengthens the effect of geographic distance and thus intensifies the degree of urban agglomeration shadow;there is urban agglomeration shadow in the northern regions,and its digital economy weakens the effect of geographical distance,which has a mitigating effect on urban agglomeration shadow,while there is basically no urban agglomeration shadow in the southern regions.Therefore,the government should increase the investment in relevant infrastructure construction,guide the less developed areas to build new growth poles according to local conditions,so as to alleviate the shadow of urban agglomeration and accelerate the realization of the goal of regional coordinated development.
