摘　　要：吐鲁番唐张怀寂墓,清宣统二年(1910)十月被盗,次年(1911)《新疆图志·金石志》即有记载,但存在为地方官员回护问题。谢晓钟1916年受北洋政府财政部委派,赴新疆及阿尔泰特别区调查财政,1917年3月经过吐鲁番,归著《新疆游记》,披露了张怀寂墓是被吐鲁番的巡检司和直隶厅的官员勾结盗掘的真相,十分可贵。in 1910 the grave of Zhang Huaiji was robbed in Turfan,which was recorded in Records and Maps of Xin Jiang in the next year 1911,which didn’t have more exact details for the reason of local offi⁃cial protection.When 1916 Xie Xiaozhong was assigned by Ministry of Finance,Beiyang Government to Altai Special Region for financial investigations in Xinjiang,and in March in 1917 paid a visit to Turfan,and finished the works Travel notes in Xinjiang on his way back,in which he explored the truth that Zhang Huaiji grave was robbed because of the collusion of Officers of Turfan′s inspection Department and Zhili Department,which is very precious.
