摘　　要：On January 1,2023,the Chinese online video platform Bilibili released Yao-Chinese Folktales,a collection of eight animated short stories rooted in traditional Chinese culture.With Chinese aesthetics as the main tone,the animated series attempted to leverage various styles and methods,Chinese and Western,traditional and modern,to depict a fantasy world of yao(monsters)with rich imagination and appeal.
