摘　　要：在加强新时代马克思主义学院建设背景下,探究西北地区高校马克思主义学院院长的群体特征有其政策价值和现实意义。在对西北地区69所公办普通本科高校马克思主义学院院长的个人履历进行研究后发现,西北地区高校马克思主义学院院长的群体特征为:均为中共党员;男性占大多数;初任年龄结构呈“M”形;异地就职比例较低,任职属地化现象较为普遍;均拥有国内大学研究生学历;多具有法学或哲学学科专业背景;均具有一定的学术能力,多为该领域的专家教授,但不同建设层次高校马克思主义学院院长表现出的学术能力差异明显;大多有学术兼职经历,任职存在一定的“近亲繁殖”现象。基于此,西北地区高校在选聘马克思主义学院院长时应通盘考虑,要在专业上“姓马”、思想上“信马”、选聘上“用马”、实践上“行马”,以推动新时代马克思主义学科和马克思主义学院高质量发展。Against the background of strengthening the construction of the School of Marxism in the new era,it is of policy value and practical significance to explore the group characteristics of the dean of School of Marxism in northwest colleges and universities.The study on the personal resumes of the deans of School of Marxism of 69public colleges and universities in the northwest region shows that the group characteristics of the dean of School of Marxism of colleges and universities in the northwest region are as follows.All are members of the Communist Party of China,male deans account for the majority,and the initial age structure is in the shape of“M”;the proportion of non-local employment is relatively low,and the phenomenon of localization of employment is relatively common;they all have graduate degrees from domestic universities,and most of them have professional background on law or philosophy;most of them are experts and professors in their field,but the academic performance of the deans of School of Marxism at different construction levels is significantly different;and most of them have part-time academic experience,and there is a certain phenomenon of“close breeding.”Therefore,the northwest colleges and universities should consider various aspects when selecting and appointing the dean of School of Marxism.The dean of School of Marxism needs to major on Marxism,believe in Marxism,and implement Marxism,so as to promote the high-quality development of the School of Marxism in the new era.
