摘　　要：南京国民政府对扶持手工业虽然并无“一贯的政策”,但在抗战前夕出于救济民生和对日经济备战的现实需要,手工业得到了政府的进一步重视。1937年全国手工艺品展览会的筹办即为政府行为的集中呈现,该展会贯彻了南京国民政府“展览观摩”与“研究改良”全国手工业的强烈旨趣。展会闭幕后,巨大的社会效应不独引起社会各界对手工业的关注,也促使各级政府开始谋划手工业改良,然因抗日战争全面爆发而中断。因此,鉴于全国手工艺品展览会仍囿于宣传范畴,对其实际成效也不应过高估计。Although the Nanking National Government had no consistent policy to support the handicraft industry,it still gained more attention from the government on the eve of the anti-Japanese War due to the practical needs of alleviating people's livelihoods and preparing for the war against Japan in terms of the economy.The preparation of the 1937 National Handicraft Exhibition was a concentrated display of government behavior that executed the Nanking National Government's significant interest in exhibition observation and emulation as well as research and enhancement of the national handicraft sector.Following the exhibition's completion,the enormous societal impact not only drew the attention of various segments of society to the handicraft business but also encouraged governments at all levels to begin planning for the improvement of the handicraft industry,but was cut short by the outbreak of anti-Japanese War.Therefore,considering that the national handicraft exhibition is still limited in its scope of promotion,its actual effectiveness should not be overestimated.
