多元文化主义下白人男性权威的危机——电影《闪灵》分析

摘　　要：斯坦利·库布里克导演的电影《闪灵》于1980年5月23日在美国上映,影片通过杰克·托兰斯一家在眺望旅馆的恐怖经历,反映了当时美国社会变革中的种种问题。多元文化主义倡导种族平等、两性平权。影片《闪灵》中杰克失业、妻子温蒂离开、黑人迪克遇害分别对应当时社会的三大经济和政治事件,即经济滞胀危机、女权运动和黑人民权运动。影片中白人家庭的悲剧,其实是经济危机下随着平权运动一同发展起来的多元文化主义与传统白人男性权威这两种意识形态冲突的结果。多元文化主义的传播加剧了白人男性权威的危机,而同时期的经济危机促使这些矛盾走向激化。The film The Shining,directed by Stanley Kubrick,was released in the United States on May 23,1980,and re-vealed the problems of social change in the United States through the horror experience of the Torrance family at the Over-look Hotel.Racial equality and gender equality advocated by multiculturalism,In the film The Shining,the unemployment of Dick,Jack's wife Wendy and Jack corresponds to the three major historical events of the society at that time,namely the black civil rights movement,the feminist movement and the crisis of economic stagflation.The tragedy of the white family in the film is actually the ideological conflict between multiculturalism developed along with the affirmative action movement un-der the economic crisis and traditional white male power.
