摘 要:跨国出版集团自20世纪80年代开始布局中国出版市场,在出版物贸易、产业投资以及合作出版业务等领域取得了显著成就。在此期间,跨国出版集团根据中国市场的特殊性不断调整自身的业务发展模式,以满足中国出版市场的超级需求。“因中国而变”成为跨国出版集团不约而同的选择,其在华业务模式也发生了重大的战略转向——出版物贸易从版权输出到专业数据库出口,产业投资从发行、印刷到新媒体和教育培训,合作出版从满足中国市场需求到助力中国出版“走出去”。对其进行探讨,将为21世纪中国出版如何更好地发挥跨国出版集团的作用,建设中国式现代化出版强国并参与全球治理提供一定借鉴。Since the 1980s,transnational publishing groups have strategically entered the Chinese publishing market,achieving remarkable success in areas such as publication trade,industrial investment,and collaborative publishing ventures.During this period,these groups continuously adjusted their business development models to cater to the unique characteristics of the Chinese market,meeting the extraordinary demands of the Chinese publishing industry.Therefore,“Change because of China”has become an unanimous choice for transnational publishing groups,leading to significant strategic shifts in their business models in China.This includes a shift in the direction of publication trade from copyright output to the export of specialized databases,a transition in industrial investments from distribution,printing to new media,and educational training,and a transformation in collaborative publishing from meeting Chinese market demands to supporting the global expansion of Chinese publishing.Exploring this issue will provide valuable insights into how transnational publishing groups can better play a role in 21st-century Chinese publishing,contributing to the construction of a modern publishing powerhouse with a unique Chinese character and actively participating in global governance.
