摘 要:本研究采用自定步速阅读任务,考察中国英语学习者对英语中动句句法-语义接口的加工情况。研究发现:典型与非典型中动句的在线加工存在显著差异,具体表现为典型中动句在主语区的反应时显著短于非典型中动句,典型中动句的可接受度显著高于非典型中动句。结果表明,中国英语学习者未完全习得英语中动句的句法-语义内接口特征。本研究基于接口假说的补充假说即接口异质性假说对研究发现进行了解释。This study used a self-paced reading task to investigate Chinese EFL learners'processing of middle constructions at the syntax-semantics interface.The results showed significant differences in the processing of prototypical and non-prototypical middles,as the reaction times for prototypical middles in the subject regions were significantly shorter than those for nonprototypical middles,and the acceptability ratings for prototypical middles were significantly higher than those for non-prototypical middles.It was found that Chinese EFL learners failed to acquire a syntax-semantics interface for English middle constructions.These findings are explained by the Interface Heterogeneity Hypothesis as a complement to the Interface Hypothesis.
