In order to investigate the influence of age on the physical and mechanical properties of hydraulic compacted concrete, tests on compressive strength, tensile strength, dry shrinkage, creep, and adiabatic temperature rise were carried out at 7 days,28 days,90 days, and 180 days respectively on the secondary gradation compacted concrete. The results show that compressive strength, tensile strength, and drying shrinkage initially increase and then stabilize with increasing age.Different loading modes result in differences in split tensile strength and axial tensile strength.Compressive elastic modulus increase logarithmically with age, while the modulus of elasticity decreases exponentially with age, indicating an enhancement in crack resistance over time.Creep increases unevenly with the duration of loading but decreases with specimen age.The early stages of the adiabatic temperature rise curve exhibits a rapid increase, followed by a gradual stabilization, primarily controlled by the hydration reaction process and rate. These research findings can serve as a reference for optimizing the mix design and improving the performance of hydraulic roller-compacted concrete.
